Cool Dawn

A reproduction of an original charcoal drawing from the Silent Pathways collection. A series of expressive charcoal drawings capturing the wind swept grasses and silent pathways of the sand dunes and there unique atmosphere. Inspired by the energy, beauty and diversity of the dunes at Gwithian on the coast of Cornwall.

50×70cm

Landwalk 14

Reproduced from and original concertina book of the same dimensions, capturing a feeling of wild nature that has its own rhythm in amongst the incredible diversity and seeming chaos of these amazing natural structures. Like a slow walk along the coast path sheltered from the elements, while peeking through the leaves, flowers and stems to the horizon beyond.

What is a Giclee print?

Pronounced zhee’clay, the word comes from the French, meaning to spray, as they are made using high quality ink jet printers.

The quality of a giclee print is far superior to all other forms of printing and is the closest an artist can get to matching their original 2-D artwork. For art lovers who want a piece of fine art but cant afford an original, giclee reproductions are a great alternative.

The inks are pigment, not dye based, and the papers are archival standard, meaning they last a very long time! Prints can last approx. 200 years in the photo album, 80-years on display behind glass (light fastness) and 50-years without the glass (gas fastness).
